- make or accept a Booking

- submit verification documents (Cleaners)
- leave ratings or reviews

3. The data we collect about you
The data we collect depends on how you use the Platform. It may include:
- Identity & contact: name, email, phone number, address
- Verification (Cleaners): government ID, right-to-work evidence
- Booking & transaction: Booking details, timing, spend, refunds, cancellation fees
- Payment: payment tokens and limited card metadata (not full card details); billing data is handled by Stripe
- Communications: messages sent through the Platform; support emails and metadata
- Device & technical: IP address, device identifiers, browser/app data, operating system, logs, crash reports
- Usage & analytics: page views, actions, clicks, booking patterns
- Ratings/reviews: feedback and ratings given or received
- Marketing preferences: opt-in/out status and communication preferences
The Platform is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.
4. How we use your data
We use your data based on the following legal bases:

- create and manage accounts
- enable bookings, confirmations, cancellations, refunds
- facilitate communications between Cleaners and Households/Clients
- provide customer support
- administer payments and payouts
- operate trust/safety features (incident reporting, check-in tools)

- maintain records for tax, accounting, fraud prevention
- comply with lawful requests and regulatory requirements
(C) Legitimate interests
- improve and secure the Platform
- prevent fraud and misuse
- analyse usage and performance
- enforce our Terms and investigate reports
- send service-related communications (non-marketing)
(D) Consent (where applicable)
- send marketing emails and push notifications (you can opt out any time)
- use certain cookies/marketing pixels where consent is required

- Cleaners and Households/Clients (with limited details as needed for Bookings)
- Stripe and payment-related providers
- Cloud hosting, database, and infrastructure providers

- Advertising partners (e.g., Meta Pixel)
- Professional advisers (lawyers, accountants) and insurers

We do not sell personal data.

Your data may be processed outside the UK. Where we do so, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including:

- UK IDTA and/or Standard Contractual Clauses with UK addendum

As an industry standard, we may retain financial and transaction records for up to 6 years (UK). We may anonymise data for analytics and research.
